With more than a decade of lending experience in retail banking, Kris has built a knowledge-base specialized in investment real estate lending, both residential and commercial. Excited for the opportunity to assist clients in ways to best meet their individual needs, Kris launched KFP Investors LLC in 2021 as a licensed mortgage loan originator/broker. She is now is the Business Development Officer. Kris is an American Association of Private Lenders Certified Private Lending Associate, an American Banking Association certified commercial lender and underwriter, an International Banking Academy trained loan officer (passed with distinction), and is certified by the National Association of Commercial Underwriters.

As a lending professional and real estate investor herself, she strives to offer education and resources to assist others in reaching their financial goals.
She is the proud mama of three amazing daughters, two bonus kids, and is happily married to the love of her life! As of this writing, the family has three beloved rescue dogs and a passion for animals of all kinds. Kris' hobbies include gardening, quilting, hiking, camping, and floating in the backyard pool. As a real estate investor herself, she also frequently tackles DIY home improvement projects.

Steve joined the KFP Investors LLC family as a Loan Originator in March 2022. He has over 25 years of experience in management in the service and telecommunications industries. He is focused on customer service and dedicated to finding the best solution for each individual project. As a relentless and resourceful problem-solver, Steve truly serves as a partner in his clients' endeavors.
Steve is happily married and has six wonderful children. The family "zoo" includes three dogs, four bearded dragons, one leopard gecko, four cats, and twenty-four chickens. He enjoys gardening and raising elderberry plants for his wife's elderberry syrup.

New to the mortgage industry in 2024, Melissa Merkle brings an extensive background in small business development. As the previous CEO and founder of Boomers N Motion, a fitness brand dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of older adults, Melissa’s passionate about empowering others to achieve both physical and financial wellness.
Melissa’s role with the KFP team includes business growth and development, as well as soon-to-be loan originator.
Originally from Ohio, Melissa and her husband now reside in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an avid public speaker, Melissa’s hobbies include networking with small business owners, strength training, yoga, walking outdoors, and eating sushi.

Kerry joined the KFP Investors LLC family as a Mortgage Processor in August 2022. With nearly a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, a legal background that facilitates detailed analysis of mortgage guidelines and requirements, and over twenty years of customer service experience, Kerry is committed to providing excellent customer service and achieving timely closings. Kerry prides herself on her ability to identify and overcome potential obstacles during the mortgage process in order to ensure a smooth transaction. Kerry has experience with commercial and residential mortgages, including non-QM, conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA.
In April 2023, with the support of the KFP Investors LLC team, Kerry became licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator and transitioned her role with KFP Investors from Mortgage Processor to Independent Contract Mortgage Processor. She created Webb Mortgage Enterprises LLC, an independent contract mortgage processing company dedicated to providing quality mortgage processing services to her clients, including KFP Investors LLC.
Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, and their giant schnauzer. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, playing games, and traveling to dog shows.

Jennifer has a kind, strong-willed, and lovable daughter who keeps her on her toes. She enjoys board and card games, playing the cello, crafts, and DIY projects.
